主講人簡介：
Yaron Peleg教授,生于以色列，在美國布蘭戴斯大學獲得希伯來文學博士學位，先後任教于普林斯頓大學和喬治華盛頓大學，現為英國劍橋大學現代希伯來研究講座教授（Kennedy Leigh Reader in Modern Hebrew Studies）。主要研究領域為以色列文化研究，特别是猶太複國主義的文化理論和表征，擔任重要學術期刊Journal of Modern Jewish Studies的主編和Prooftexts的副主編。已出版專著多部，在以色列研究和現當代希伯來研究領域具有重要學術影響。
